I'm feeling a little blue

I'm determined to get my makeup mojo back so I wanted to do a bold look this weekend for a wedding we were going to. I usually go alot softer for a wedding ...especially since this was my old boss' wedding....but this is what Sabrena wanted to do so.....
My first idea was to use MUFE 92 in the look but then at the last minute decided on using Mac Electric Eel. The last time I wore it was about 6 years ago and my mom said 'o that's just way too much blue' when she saw me *insert sad face here*. Well since that day, i've been scared to wear it out...much less to a wedding.
In the pan it looks very blue, but when you put it next to another blue (Mac Deep Truth), you can really see the green in it come through.

Hope you like it!

***I did a tutorial on this look. I still need to edit it though so look for the link on here or on youtube in the next couple days :-)

OMG, I have the same fear of Electric Eel. I tried it on a friend and she absolutely hated it and hasn't let me do her make-up since.

Well after that "situation" I have been afraid to use it on myself too. The way you used it on this look gives me hope.

And you look stunning the eyes, foundation, outfit.

Yay you're back!!!

*gasps* That looks amaaaaaaaazing!!

When I saw your new post on my blog feed I actually gasped out loud and almost dislocated my finger in my rush to click on it!! LOL

I haven't even used my Electric Eeel (tut tut), but that's gonna change soon. The pattern on your dress looks fab against your eyes and you and hubby are such a cute couple!

Looking fwd to viewing the tut :-)

funny you said that about the blue because i recently just worn freshwater and felt out of element because blue is just so bright against our skintone and well, i had no regrets. lol.

Girl you look amazing, I love the color combo, I don't have Electri Eel, because like you said it is very blue, but I think I have to pick this up and try. AMAZING.
